Biography
Michel de Nostredame (1503–1566), known as Nostradamus, was a French astrologer, physician, and reputed seer. He is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 quatrains that have been interpreted as predicting future events.
Nostradamus was also a respected physician who treated plague victims across France and Italy. His prophecies, written in cryptic verse, have been the subject of intense debate and interpretation for over 450 years.
